Conferência Nacional da Juventude discrimina juventude mestiça

A Comissão Organizadora da 1ª Conferência Nacional da Juventude, realizada em Brasília - DF (27-30/04/2008), coordenada pela Secretaria Geral da Presidência da República, e pela Secretaria Nacional de Juventude, não pagou as passagens da representação da juventude mestiça, impedindo a participação desta no evento. A União da Juventude Mestiça, sediada em Manaus, é constituída por jovens mestiços caboclos, mulatos, cafuzos, etc. O movimento mestiço tem denunciado discriminação do governo Lula contra mestiços e informa que não é a primeira vez que o governo federal não paga o transporte e estadia de representantes mestiços eleitos para conferências nacionais.

The Organizing Committee of the 1 st National Youth Conference, held in Brasilia - DF (April 27-30, 2008), coordinated by the Secretariat General of the Presidency of the Republic, and the National Department of Youth, has not paid the passages of the representation of Multiracial youth,preventing their participation in this event. The Multiracial Youth Union, based in Manaus, State of Amazon, is made up by caboclos, mulatto, cafuzos, and other Multiracials. The Multiracial movement has denounced the Lula’s government discrimination against Multiracials and inform that it is not the first time that the federal government does not pay the transport and stay of Multiracial representatives elected to national conferences.
